Cadinho Bakery & Café
Portuguese-inspired bakery and café serving authentic pastel de nata and specialty coffee drinks.
Ok, you now have your matcha (pro tip: get it with banana cold foam -- all homemade and the best in Chicago) and your pastel de nata... it is time to put this energy to work!
As you enter the space, you are grounded by the natural light, airy environment, and racks of clothes that have been tediously color coded. You spot a funky color block quilted lined jacket from Damson Mason and immediately know you have entered a dangerous boutique that is too chic to fathom.

Pancho Pistolas Authentic Mexican Restaurant
Traditional Mexican dining including breakfast & margaritas in a colorful loftlike space.
After purchasing almost every item you could see, it is time to get that real grub back in Bridgeport. Small charm, and huge on flavor. You order a mango margarita, which is larger than your head, but your waitress assures you it is truly just a size medium!

You have to end the night with something sweet, the molten lava flourless sundae from your neighborhood creamery, VACA, will have to do.

Maria's Packaged Goods and Community Bar
Hybrid liquor store & neighborhood tavern supplying a large rotating menu of rare craft beers.
Just when you got out of your uber to go up to your apartment, you walk past Maria's and see three friends from your first job in the city. You have no choice, but to stop in for one of their cocktails. You have never felt cozier.
