Love it or Leavitt
Leavitt Street has some great spots, here are some I recommend, North to South.

Winnemac is one of the best parks in the city. It's huge. It's got great nature walks. Ball fields bordered by weeping willows. A 4,500 seat stadium that hosts CPS sports and Edgewater Castle (men's and women's semi-pro soccer). Going here after work, you'll find commuters walking or biking home on the Winnemac neighborhood greenway which runs through the park.
Winnemac Park
School park with a prairie garden, playground, trails, softball fields, soccer field, track & gym.
Sushi Loop has a really cool vibe. The food is great too.
Sushi Loop
Casual Japanese restaurant offering all-you-can-eat sushi and fresh crab legs.
If you're looking for a fancy dinner, this place is a great option.
Il Milanese Ristorante
Authentic Northern Italian eatery serving signature ossobuco, risotto, and handmade pasta with expertly crafted cocktails.
You'll never guess where Grace & Leavitt is
Grace & Leavitt
Low-key, firefighter-themed bar offering cocktails & a large selection of craft beer.
The back patio here is so elite. I am a sucker for outdoor TVs and they've got two flanking their fireplace built into the coachhouse.
Roscoe Village Pub
Casual neighborhood pub featuring an outdoor patio and a selection of beers on tap.
The Leavitt Street Inn burger has received a lot of hype over the years, leading to some long lines and wait times. If you find yourself waiting for a seat, the next stop on our list is a nice place to wait...
The Leavitt Street Inn & Tavern
Beer & pub eats in a straightforward, corner locale with a patio & 3 overnight rooms.
One of the hundreds of great dives in this city. Very dog-friendly, a little musty. Tight quarters. Just a solid spot for a Hamms.
The Corner Bar
Cash-only neighborhood joint with craft beers on tap & daily drink specials in a laid-back setting.
